Through Community Resource Initiative’s PrEP (Pre-exposure Prophylaxis) and nPEP (non-occupational post-exposure prophylaxis) drug assistance programs, clients gain quick, easy access to medications, with no out-of-pocket cost, which decreases the risk of HIV transmission – before or after a potential exposure.

 

What is PrEP and nPEP?
  • PrEP (Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis), when taken as prescribed prior to sex and/or injection drug use can significantly reduce the risk of contracting HIV. Learn more about PrEP and gain access to medication, through our PrEP drug assistance program (PrEPDAP)
  • nPEP is medication taken within 72 hours after a potential HIV exposure and is a type of antiviral therapy for HIV designed to reduce the possibility of HIV infection. Learn about nPEP and get access immediately
